In Those Reviews the reviewers felt compelled to tell you every single niggle and naggle of coles open world.
The only difference is InFAMOUS didnt have millions to spend on Marketing.
So far though RDR has climbed to a 9.5 game for me as soon as i saw thunderstorm.
All I know is:

my reasoning for not buying just cause 2 was because i already played gta4. i like the story and its the reason why i got RDR. After checking out just cause 2's demo i decided the story was kinda lame. Also, the hype behind RDR forced my hand to tell you the truth. theres no way im gonna pass up 10/10 game.
so far its mostly hype but im still having a blast and waiting for the game to open up more. It really is a gta4 clone.
i was thinking about getting modnation racers in about 6 weeks but im still very much enjoying motorstorm pacific rift and wipeout HD.

i just went online into free roam and eliminated all the thugs in pikes basin and just when i was about to demolition some explosives my avatar just froze. he wouldnt move. i could go into menus, pause the game, hit select but my guy wouldnt do jack. I had to quit.
I'll try again later. I went into quick match soon after and had a very good time. Red Dead redemption gets me into the mood to play grand theft auto online 4 all over again.
